After the accounts are successfully loaded into our system, the first step in the collection process is the scrub the demographic information on every account through the National Change of Address database. Any account that has registered a Change of Address through the United States Post Office within a 6 month period, the address is automatically changed by our letter printing service and the first notice is sent to the new address. We will then extract all changes from the NCOA database and update our debtor’s demographics. This is done on a daily basis. All of our notices are sent marked "Return Service Requested," which means that all undeliverable mail will be returned to us. Any mail that has a change of address that the NCOA scrub did not identify, will also be returned to us with the new address attached. We will manually change the address and resend the appropriate notice.
