Mike Coffey, Principal

Mike obtained two undergraduate degrees, a BA in Finance and a BS in Accounting from the University of North Carolina Charlotte. He then went on to earn his MBA from Queens University, McColl School of Business in Charlotte, NC. From there Mike went on to hone his analytical skills working for Deloitte & Touche as well as Ernst & Young in healthcare financial consulting. Mike moved from consulting to become the Vice President of operations for a large Physician Network, with 1400 physicians and over 500 million in billings through the central billing office. Mike came to Med A/Rx in 2003 as a principal with the charge to grow the business through exceptional customer service and technical innovation.

Chad Polk, Principal

Chad obtained his undergraduate degree, a BA in Business/Marketing from Catawba College. Chad worked for First Data Corporation as a Sales Specialist in the early ‘90s. Chad left First Data Corporation to join PMAB, Inc. Chad is a Principal with Med A/Rx and responsible for top line sales growth and maintains sound relationships with all clients. With 18-plus years of experience in the healthcare collections industry, Chad is directly involved in the scoring and financial analysis on client receivables and directs the production and expenses for Extended Business Office Services.

Christy Smith

Christy R. Smith is the manager of Extended Business Office operations. Christy has over 20 years of health care experience where she has worked in management of hospital Patient Access and Patient Accounting Departments as well as an interim PFS director. Christy also worked for Medicare Part A and B for over 9 years where she was responsible for the processing of hospital and physician claims.

Dan Hinson

Dan Hinson is the Director of Sales and Compliance for the company. Dan has over 35 years of health care experience in finance and consulting on both the for profit and not for profit sides of the hospital and physician business. During his career Dan has not only managed every aspect of the Business Office he has worked it as well. Dan is a member of several different state HFMA organizations and is a member of the Health Care Compliance Association.

Bob Griffin

Bob-Griffin Bob Griffin is our General Manager of Operations and has a tenure of over 8 years with our Organization. He has over 25 years of total collection experience. His past experience included being Director of Operations of a previous agency in which he worked his way through the ranks from Collector to Director thus gaining a full understanding of A/R management for all Industries (Healthcare, Purchased, Bankcard, Utilities and Checks). Bob Griffin has been through different certifications presented by the ACA as well as other venues. Bob’s past experience lends to him being well rounded in all aspects of the Collection and Healthcare arena from the operations spectrum to systems integrations and efficiencies.

Rhonda Silver

Rhonda Kidwell Silver is the Vice President of Client Relations for the Extended Business Office Operation and is a senior Revenue Cycle consultant. Rhonda is a Certified Patient Account Manager and has over 30 years of health care finance experience. In her career - Rhonda has been in management for all hospital bed sizes in either Patient Accounting, Patient Registration, or both.

Lucy Poisson, Manager Client Services

Lucy Poisson is our Manager of Client Services and Cash Management and has a tenure of over 10 years with our Organization.
She has over 16 years of total collection and customer service experience. Her past experience included Manager of Return check Collections Agency and 3 years in Peace Corps.

Dan Roach

Dan Roach is our Director or Information Technology. Dan has over thirty years of information systems experience primarily in the healthcare industry. In addition to his career in information systems, Dan was responsible for the patient accounting department of a large nationally recognized physician system.
